Home Service Carpets was started in 1985, the idea being inspired by grocery, dairy and clothing vans that took their business to rural communities half-a-century ago.

From the moment the service was launched, it was successful, due to the combination of the comprehensive carpet and flooring ranges, the experience gained over decades and the skill of recommending that which will be suitable, practical and the best value.

To help achieve this rare blend of advice, the founder attended 6 months at college to achieve an in-depth knowledge of colour co-ordination.
